Well, we all went down to Margate on the English Channel foreland…

The Margate weekend could have been a disappointment, with our illustrious singer Steve unable to make it due to a bureaucratic nightmare and our photographer falling ill, but fortunately we had lots of other stuff to do with music pouring out of every available space in the town and its neighbour, Broadstairs.

On Margate sands.

I can connect

Nothing with nothing.

I wonder what he would have made of the bubbling, vibrant town it is now?

We meet again…


Summer 2013

More tracks are laid down and recording engineer, Paul Samson starts the long process of mixing it; we’re beginning to sound like a real rock band.

So, anyway…


May 2013

We recorded a couple of tracks over the first weekend, some were old and others were new, including a real tear up called “Crazy Bay”, written by Steve. It set the tone for band’s sound and was the first song actually in the can.

There was a twist

We met at a rehearsal studio in Coventry in May. It wasn’t “the band”, because some of the old members couldn’t be contacted. So we blended a couple of bands with Ade as common factor.

Steve rang me, “Fancy getting the band back together again?” The idea was to record an album, sell it and donate the proceeds to the Motor Neurone Disease Association. It took me about a nanosecond to make my mind up.
